Suggestions & Requests / Da'Vinci Tank

So I was just watching TV, and saw something about Da'Vinci Tanks. It's basically like a tank, it moves on wheels n' things, but has turrets all around it, and they all fire at once. Maybe making one that moves very slowly, but fires on each click and has a pause inbetween shots, about 3-5 seconds or so.

Okay, maybe not THAT many turrets, but you get the idea.

Help / Anyone Have A Link to BGM?

I remember that in v10 I had an add on called the BGM mod. Does anyone have a link to it? I have looked all through the add ons section, but don't see it. It didn't go to the fail bin, did it?

I've seen a lot of repetitive server names lately. Names that really make no sense. Names like, "*Builder's name*'s server plz join!!!!!!!!!" :| What exactly in that name would make a person want to come to that server? Unless you know that person, is there really a single person who Blockland who would think "How polite, he said please. I think I'll join his server."!? I think not. To me, a small amount of "!"'s and a clear but accurate description of what you do at your server is a good server name.

General Discussion / What do you consider a *good* add on?

I have RTB like many people on Blockland, and I always check the little news thing when I open Blockland. I search through the list, but I really haven't found many good add-ons recently.... But this is a SERIOUS matter of opinion. To me, a good add on is a unique weapon, or an interesting emitter, or a new kind of brick that's unique from all the others. I just... don't find having all the guns from Halo very useful. >_>

So then, what do you, as a single person, consider a good add on?

his has most likely already been suggested and rejected, but would it be possible to make an OnBrickTouch event for fake kill bricks? I would think not, because they don't seem to be ale to interact openly with other bricks, but this event would probably be very useful. To make dominoes more intricate and stuff.

What do you think is the most creative thing you've built with physics? We've all seen dominoes and catapults hundreds of times already, but what have you come up with?

I made something where you're trying to break into a secret lab, and you jump on the storm window on the roof and it breaks. It's not very creative, I just couldn't think of anything else that I hadn't already seen someone make. :/

Help / DNS Servers

I'm trying to forward my ports, and I have a mac. The next thing I need to do is create a Static IP address, and to do that I need these things called "DNS Servers" apparently. I'm supposed to ask my internet provider what a few good DNS servers would be, and when I asked my parents (One of which works for our internet provider, Comcast. >_>) they had never heard of DNS servers. I'm stuck. How do I find 3 good DNS servers?

I really couldn't think of a better title. o_o

You know how when you customize your avatar in game, they have a category for things to go on your back? Could we have wings? :o Not super elegant wings, just some basic, feathery wings. No moving while you walk/fly or any of that. I just want wings. :x Although it would be nice if you could color them un-symmetrically....

I would enjoy having some special bricks. Have ANIMALS. Now I don't mean having them fly all over the place, but you can just envision some of the tanimals from legos. Like take for instance, a bird. It's simply a paintable brick in the shape of the bird that you put on a 1x1 square, but takes up about 3 squares around it. I could really use animals for things like cities, or what I REALLY want in particular is a gargoyle. :] Now I know I'm going to get tons of replies just saying "BUILD ONE!!!", but although I could do that, it's much more obvious as to what it is if it's a brick. Whenever I build animals they always just look like a stranger lump of ramps and 1x1 plates... -_-

I couldn't think of any better name, sorry. -_-

I was thinking about something, sort of like the Folly Fun Card, typing in a command and then having something like an emitter or color for your player, that would basically set your player apart from a normal player. For example:

/flameplayer - Your entire player bursts into flames, not hurting him, just setting the flame emitter on him.

/ghostplayer - Your whole body is a transparent white/gray, and you have a bit of fog around you.

/bloodyplayer - You leave a trail of blood behind you (disappearing after a little while of course) and are sort of dripping blood.

/brightplayer - a bright light coming from your player's face, or from his entire body, pretty much blinding whoever looks at him.

/blurryplayer - your player lokos sort of blurry, and leaves behind a trail of himself... sorta... like when he walks, you see what you would see if you took a picture of something that was moving. (Couldn't think of a better way to describe it.)

/shakyplayer - Your player looks like he's vibrating, like he's rumbling around or something.


Get the basic idea? o_o

Now I know that we have the Portal Gun, and we also have the hookshot, but could we have some sort of gun that would very simply just be clicked, and warp us over to the place the transport ray hit? The thing is, the Portal Gun is to hard to handle, and noisy also. And the hookshot just moves too slow. I really want this for special effects, to give someone the impression of us just poofing from one place to another in a matter of seconds. I would appreciate if it didn't have any special effects or sound, just *blink*, and you're there. It could be used for a multitude of things, a ghost appearing in a place really quickly, a ninja, or just to escape from someone who's about to shoot you. I just can't get my point across fast enough with the Portal Gun/Hookshot. :x

If we have inverted ramps, why don't we have inverted crests?! I would have thought we would have some by now, but we don't! I want to have some upside down crests. Just like the ones we already have, but upside down. I would also like to have half crests, so that they are basically the same thing but only half of the crest. And for once I even made a picture on Sketch Up!



Simple, yes? Plz consider it, I want to make a mouth with sharp teeth/Domo! >:D

Now most of us know about the BGM mod. I was wondering if someone could make an event that would allow you to make the BGM music player change to a certain song? I don't know if the creator of the BGM mod is the only one who could make it, but it would also help if they could make the BGM mod downloadable like addons, where you don't keep it but you just have it on that server. I really don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm hoping that other people will know what I'm asking for. ^_^'

Could someone make a vehicle that has a capacity for one player, looks like an inner tube, and can not be moved voluntarily by the player? Like the barrel? I don't know if this a default for all vehicles, but make sure it floats.

Could someone make, as a joke weapon, something like a violin or a trombone that when you click would A)Shoot a scratchy looking music note at someone and hurt them and B)Make a screechy kind of sound that would come from that instrument? I would really enjoy that...
