Excuse me?!? Who the forget gave you the right to see my boobs >:[

If someone says something seemingly random like this, it's probably a meme. (This particular one comes from 4chan, like most of them. )

You're online. Don't take stuff like this personally. Admittedly it was a mistake for you to admit to being female in the first place, but there's no going back now.

Welcome to the forums. Try not to forget up too badly. Because you're going to, sooner or later.

Get some more bricks. Really, all those weapons, when are you actually going to use those?

Wedges. Round Corners. Print Plates. A Random Brick Pack. And you should probably look into how much of the JVS content you really have, because I doubt you have all of the available ones that you'd like to have. Bricks open up a lot more possibilities than any amount of weapons you could ever hope to have.

That's a very appropriate suggestion.

...or it would be if Blockland really WAS directed towards "young kids". But it's not. It's for any age to join, no restrictions have been placed, and I like it that way. I could try and act like "it's better for the community to be able to release their stress..." and so on, but that's not it. I honestly just like being able to tell 7 year old pricks to forget off. :)

And in the mean time, you act like the word forget is a single word that must be banned against all others. I won't make a list or anything, but there's a lot of words that offend people a LOT more than the word forget. If you really feel like this is how Blockland needs to be, just put the filters on your own server, and leave it like that.

Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post.

...that was more irritating than I thought it would be.

General Discussion / Re: Did Blockland change you?
« on: August 12, 2010, 05:18:32 PM »
Certainly. I'm 15, and I joined when I was 13. Blockland was the first "real forum" that I ever visited, and I learned the hard way what they can be like. People don't have to be nice to you. People aren't necessarily here to make friends. If you're a moron, people will more than likely make fun of you. I think that Blockland made me realize that I have certain social expectations to meet when I'm online, such as spelling.

The Blockland Forums made me meaner, but they also made me smarter. I don't think it's a bad change at all.

you're an idiot
You have my absolute respect for being able to spell that word right in an insult. You really do.

My name in game is "O_o", my ID 4976. Imddc, please ban me from your server, so I can be reminded not to ever go there.

Can you still ban people with IDs only? >_>;

Funball. That's what it was called, right? It was a vehicle, round, you would get in it and roll around.

It might even still be available, really. But I'm not sure. I just remember it from V8.

Role playing in Blockland is stupid in the first place. But, role playing in the Blockland FORUMS? Really? >_>

General Discussion / Re: Wild Western Inn
« on: August 10, 2010, 12:32:00 AM »
It would have varied between inns, you know. But if it's called "Saloon Door", I'd expect it to be used for Saloons, myself. I'm not speaking from experience, but when I think of a wild west in from the days of say, the Gold Rush, I imagine them to not have any doors at all, actually. Just a door way to get in, but no moving door. But like I said, it varies. When I look up "1800's Inn", I get some results that have doors, and some that don't. But those aren't all necessarily "Wild West" inns. I think that if you just use a saloon door, people will get the idea.

General Discussion / Re: Did I copy Tic Tacs Build?
« on: August 10, 2010, 12:25:54 AM »
I do see some similarities, but it seems different enough that I would consider it your own work, and not pladurism. I don't like people stealing my builds, but when it comes to thinks like building techniques, (For example, using balconies and scafolding, like in your house) I think it's good that I can inspire other people to use the same thing. Kind of flattering.

The first post I saw accusing you seemed like a troll to me. I didn't read further down the thread than that, but I wouldn't take him too seriously if I were you. :/

General Discussion / Re: Would you consider using this colorset?
« on: August 10, 2010, 12:22:51 AM »
I wouldn't, personally, because I'm mostly satisfied with the one I have now. In my own opinion, I think people need to start coming up with more themes for their colorsets, instead of just throwing them out there as "Colorsets". For example, there was one that was entirely monochrome, and recently on RTB I saw some colorset that was all dark, bolds, made for DMs or something. Things like that. I think it makes people more likely to download your colorset if you actually tell them what it's useful for.

4976. Feels kinda nice, finally getting "down there" in terms of BL_IDs. I don't mind having people gawk at how low it is, and assuming that I'm a good builder.

Conceited? ME???

I like themed builds the best. And so, I make a lot of them too. But jail builds and spaceship builds do get old after a while.

i nned a dad cna i be ur son? U wunt frends nao? Pl0xies?

But that's the thing, they don't actually come on that directly. They never come right out and go "Can we be friends?" If they did that, I might actually consider talking to them. But instead, they just always take a much more direct route of "I KNOW YOU. WE'RE FRIENDS. NOW BE MY BITCH."

It's a statement, rather than a request.

I understand that this forum is meant for complaining about a person, but if I tried to state the people who do this particular thing, the list would go on and on....

So it seems like more and more often, people have been coming to my server asking if I remember them, and naturally get all disappointed when I reply with a "...?". Now I've said this multiple times in the forums. I'm here to build, not to make friends. I think I make this message fairly clear when I talk to people. (On my server, I try to act serious and to the point with things.) And yet, every day I have someone coming to me asking this question. Even if I do remember them, I try not to acknowledge it, because it soon goes downhill if I claim that I do remember them. (They suddenly assume that now we're BEST FRIENDS and that I'll do anything for them, like give them admin, let them break the rules, or ban the person who criticized their build.)

*Sigh* It unfortunately makes me come off as a huge starfish, often times. I don't act like this on most sites. But really, if you've only seen the person on another server once, don't scramble over to their server for friendship. -_-'
