Off Topic / Re: have missed the bus you have you
« on: September 19, 2016, 09:49:19 AM »
being in grade 12 has the perks of being able to go home early so I rely on city busses which are much more difficult to miss

especially since they only show up one every half hour for some dumb reason so it takes forever for one to show up.

I played harambe tycoon before it got deleted, it was filled with memestars, but it was actually better than your usual tycoon.

also it was apparently made as a statement as to how crappy the "popular games" selection is with everything on it being clickbait games.

the dude apparently even put 100K R$ worth of advertising into it.

ignore your parents and stay home anyways. there's not a whole lot that can do.
I mean, they could take away my pc from me so theres that.

well, why don't you wanna go to your grandparents'?
because theres basically nothing to do there and it's really inconvenient trying to get to school from there, normally I could just walk/take a bus.

anyways I talked to them about it a bit more and they said they were willing to let me stay home alone at some other point but not during this whole trip because its "too long" for me to stay home to them.

So I'm  about 17 and 1/2 right now, my parents are going away on some vacation for their anniversary  and they're forcing me to stay with my grandparents instead of letting me stay home on my own, their only reasoning is because they're saying its illegal, which is complete bullstuff as I've seen multiple instances of parents asking if its okay to let their 16-17 year old stay home on their own and not ONE person said "no its illegal" (in fact one of them apparently had their divorced mother try calling some kind of child protection service about it but they said they couldn't do anything about them staying home)

So how should I approach telling them this even, the trip is exactly a week away so I don't really have much time, I've saved a couple of links as proof but I don't really know how I should convince them that I should stay home by myself.

also considering the whole mention of the romantic date, I'm assuming this entire ask thing takes place in a pacifist run universe

so I guess that means that its the "canon" ending?

I mean I'd rather take lolrandom humor over crap like "meme tycoon"

people genuinely thought that lolrandom stuff was funny, with memes now they're trying way too hard to use them ironically which just ends up making them worse.

I think Toby's approach to the entire thing, over the past year has been so incredibly professional and well taken care of.
yeah
hes definitely done an amazing job with it, hes been professional yet still silly when its necessary, a pretty good example of how developers SHOULD handle their games.
