rule 1 is fine and doesnt really have any major effect on this
rule 2 is absolutely handicapped though.

it isnt a vote of "whose the best blocklander" anymore, its just "who does the guy with the most money spent on this game like the most"

still I dont see how he can go from 3 votes to 20 in about an hour while no one else moves at all
obviously someone is using a ton of alts to vote for someone, which really ruins the whole point of voting.

XR-7, please dissallow obvious alt account voting, it doesnt make the poll fair at all, it isnt a vote of "whose the best blocklander" anymore, its just "who does the guy with the most money spent on this game like the most"

my only problems with the server is the huge skill curve, the mass amount of explosive weps (you don't even wanna know how many times I've just been exploded from nowhere) and some guns being pretty crappy compared to others (I spammed a pair of smg's at a dude aimed right at him for about 10 seconds, none of the bullets hit)

It may be "the peoples choice" but its still valves platform, so they still have the final say in what gets represented on their market
the last sentence of harm's post basically sums it up, they don't want to be associated with this game, they just used "too violent" because I don't really think theres a real professional way to say "this game disgusts us" as a reason.

You could also gib dead bodies in Half life 1. However, the dev was like some sort of hardcore neo national socialist who tried to make the edgiest game possible. It's all about maintaining a good image and I don't think Valve wants to be associated with that game got a ton of bad press.
