well the clothes itself is kinda made up of a sci-fi material that is kinda resistant, its mainly built to be a absorber of anti-matter blasts though, and the stuff used for that is also decent at blocking other things too
so yay sci fi bullstuff explanation

Sometimes the shield does not trigger at all

Never had that really happen before when I was solo, its kinda the one drawback of having rapid attacking weapons instead of slow heavy hitting ones

New loka sent a eximus healer army at me while doing a defense mission with a Vauban
I just ran into the vortex as soon as they spawned and they all got decimated lol

flat i want you to break a t3 mender's shield /and/ kill the guy on the spot in one blow, and then provide a video.

I can't do it, but Gran faust+Gremlin damage bonus high would probably do it
also Gran faust deals enough damage that you can kill them before they trigger the shield.
