Off Topic / Re: fat people piss me off

okay first we need to clear something up.

People on that football team are most likely in high school, meaning for over half their life, they weren't the ones making the nutritional choices in their life.

One of my bestfriends plays center for our team and he's definitely overweight, but you know something?  He works his ass off for hours every day burning off whatever he can, he doesn't like who he is, and he tries to change it, he didn't make himself fat, his mom fed him 6 meals and a day and as a loving 8 year old you're not gonna be like no mom this is going to deteriorate my health later in life!

So don't group them all together, please, that's a really large pet peeve of mine

How much of a sad sack do you have to be to get fired from a minimum wage job. Lol.
and this post makes me so very hope you get banned.

That was ignorant and uncalled for.  Minimum wage jobs are so replaceable in this economy you can literally get fired because your manager doesn't like you.  There's 200 other people in a line ready to take your job.

Off Topic / Re: Joining the rugby team - what do you guys think?
« on: August 05, 2013, 11:01:51 PM »
I played 4 years old American football, I've never tried rugby because it's not popular here in the states, and the fact I'd probably die.

I mean playing runningback even in pads I still got smashed some games, I mean with no pads I'd probably be in tears at the end of every game lmao

I remember being in a similar situation.

Started working at a Raising Canes across the street from my old house, my boss was always a total richard.  It took me about 3 months to realize I was working at a minimum wage, readily replaced position, so I just decided forget it and let's go find a job where my coworkers can respect me.

Glad you decided to find yourself a better workplace, hope everything works out for you

on a mostly off topic thing, I spent I think ~$800 on some new hardware on Newegg for my computer, I used my debit card via Paypal, but I made the wrong order, so I cancelled and I had enough on my account so that I didn't have to wait for the refund so I just switched out the parts and then checked out again.

So $1600 is now gone from my account, but within 1-3 business days apparently $800 gets refunded.  Nope.  Paypal then flags my paypal account AND informs my bank account for fraudulent activity.  So now I'm running between Newegg, Paypal, and my bank trying to get everyone the money they deserve and try not to get sued.

tldr; Paypal doesn't want you to spend more than $30 a month or they're going to make your life hell

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Good City RPG Gamemode.
« on: August 05, 2013, 01:26:14 PM »
I've never understood why CityRPG is such a hated thing, and I'm being honest.  Is it because of how it has a ton of errors?  Or does Badspot jut not like large modifications, I don't know.

you think real life is csi miami
the chances of that happening are very slim
and most likley the police would find out such and throw out the evidence

are you kidding me?  there's a difference between murder and premeditated murder, in a premeditated murder, blaming other people to cover your own tracks is literally a variable in almost every single case ever recorded.  Because it's easy to get away with, it's hard for a person or anything for that matter to prove you 'didn't' do something versus proving they 'did' something.  Using the internet makes it so much easier.  If 10 year old kids can figure out how to DDoS a site they dislike, I'm fairly sure a sane 40-50 year old man devising a murder would have some sense in using the internet to their advantage.

115
so if someone arranged a murder using email, you don't think it would be okay to use those emails as evidence?
No because anyone can claim to be anyone online, say someone RAT's your computer, uses your email to setup a murder, then you get blamed?

It's too shaky to be used as evidence

116
what do you mean by that?
in an investigation, using anything gathered online to pin something to a person

117
I have no problem with police or FBI investigating things on the internet and to some extent prosecuting major crimes that are committed via the internet, but using the internet as proof in a case, or shutting down sites fully, or removing certain things from the internet, that's when it crosses a line for me

Games / Re: World of Tanks | Megathread | 8.7 Released

That's why I said it's a good thing we don't get to experience the terrible mechanical failures that plagued our tanks.
I think it would be neat, having to deal with them, I wish the game was actually more realistic instead of such an arcade style because as much as I enjoy it, I think having more realism would be great

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Better Unban List (Ban Records)
« on: August 04, 2013, 03:16:30 PM »
I'm ironing everything out now, removing all my echos and debugging and adding comments.
Then I'll swap to the new GUI and see if everything is named correctly, package it, and release

The KV-1 had a stuffty transmission that had to be shifted with a hammer, the KV-2's turret could only turn on level ground, etc. The game ignores those things.

Those are too indepth for the tanks to be balanced, that's why they aren't in the game
