Let me get this out there.
If you seriously think that saying brother is justified just because you are in fact, Black American,
You seriously need to think about that for a while.
While the term brother, is supposed to be in a sense used between mostly fellow black-americans, it is still an alternative version of monday, if you want people to stop using the word monday, simply stop using the word brother, it is advocating that it is still all right to use either word, because they are technically the same loving word, i don't care what you say about it.
The issue is that blacks(in this case) are literally enablers to racism at this point in time, Yes, i said it, ENABLERS.
The issue of race is better than it ever was.
but if you look at the pop-culture of Black-Americans at this point in time, it's changed quite dramatically, i mean you can look at any mainstream rap song and see what i'm talking about right from the start, obviously using mainstream rap isn't much of a good example but it still influences a lot of the culture right now.
Just throwing you some of my view on the matter, take it as you will.
(And yes black-american is the term i am using, because if you're not coming from Africa directly and have lived in America, it's not African American, if you're born in America, and are black, you are Black-American.)
