I could do it too if I got the time for it and if you don't mind that I'm not a native speaker. I could send you a sample if you want.

link to topic or something?

They've never been released, as they still have some bugs and flaws, also I did not make they're scripts by my self, I've just edited Gravity Cat's work.

Took me a while to realize the yellow is meant to be gold. They look great though!

thank you, well it is supposed to be brass I've made it slightly darker now, but it still is a bit hard to get this color right

There already has been a very similar 1887, though yours seems to be a bit nicer done.

now make a miniature crossbow ON scratch

I don't see the point of doing so.

Thanks again!

your voice reminds me of that guy from kung fury

Nice voice and crossbow.

Well I used to have a reputation for doing impressions haha

I imagine making this requires a steady hand with these tiny parts and all.

At some points it does require a steady hand, every time I was drilling a hole (keep in mind that I don't have a drill press) I had in mind that it could ruin it all. I kind of messed some of the holes up as they did not turn out the way I wanted them but it wasn't all that bad as I found a way to work around this, also I had to make the mechanic parts twice, as the first pair was to wimpy and quickly wore out.

that's really cool. Show your itty bitty guns pls.
You're lucky, I just finished one as a gift for my girlfriend. I could post pictures of them all but I couldn't show them shooting (sadly my country is run by Idiots and also filled with them) thats why I think it wouldn't be worth it to make a video about them.

Thank you all!

also the match lighting is cool as hell

It's actually a bolt with a toycap on its tip but it should also work with strike anywhere matches aswell though it would be a little more dangerous, as it could actually set something on fire.

That's pretty damn cool. Started in 2014? That took awhile but hey at least you ended up you stuck to it now, and the result is a nice little piece.
Yes it started back in 2014, I thought it would be cool to make something like that with a working mechanism but I had no clue how to do so with my tools and materials at hand, so I pretty much froze the project as seen on the picture where I'm holding it in my hand until I figured it out (there also have been some motivational issues because I thought I would never really get it in a working condition).

Creativity / Miniature Crossbow and Muzzleloading guns made from Scratch

So I made this miniature crossbow earlier and wanted to share it with you guys though it has pretty much nothing to do with Blockland (except for the size maybe).

Any opinions?

As it got requested earlier, here are some of my other miniature builds.

Here we got the oldest countable ones I've made (there was an earlier attempt but it just isn't something I would show off, but still keep it for its nostalgic values)

and these are the latest ones which I just finished about a week ago

This was pretty much my first real try at modelling

If I were to remake these it'd be better

For a first try they are actually pretty nice, you don't have to remake them completely, but there should be some more details on them especially on the lock also the lock and the barrel need to be moved a little (embed the barrel a little deeper in the stock and move the lock more to the back that it is about halfway behind the barrel). A ramrod and a triggerguard would be nice details too.

Don't get me wrong, as I've first seen the muskets and pistols in Assassin's Creed they made me cringe too because it seems like they're based off non firing replicas (like these cheaply made Denix stuff) and they got some of the mechanisms wrong like the first "flintlock" pistol you'll get in AC IV which is actually a caplock pistol and anachronistic for that era or the "wheellock" pistol which is a flintlock with a whellock pistol styled stock.

in my expert opinion you are not an expert

and even if you were, you wouldnt have the right to stuff on someone else to make yourself look better

It's not to make myself look better in any way. I just wanted to point out that they don't look like actual muskets to someone who has got enough knowledge about muskets since there are some common mistakes made in these models.

To me as an expert for muskets these models look cringeworthy to be honest. But I'm really looking forward for your vintage cars they're just beautiful.

I don't deny that, Colt Walker looks pretty bad. If anyone wants to model me a new one though feel free to hit me up!

I've actually made a Colt Walker model a while ago, it wasn't all that bad but could use a little polishing though. If I find some spare time I could try to enhance the model a little bit.

Some of the best Sketchup models I've seen so far, also makes me feel alot better about using Gcat's script as base by myself, because noone actually complains about that.
