Modification Help / Re: A few classic Guns : DB Shotgun + SA Revolver Added

when it will be available to download?

Maybe someday, probably never. I can't surely tell if I'll ever be able to get them into a completely finished state, it's pretty much just beginners stuff and most of the time I still don't really know what I'm doing but it somehow works which is nice.

The logo on the butt of the gun is ugly.

It's not really on the model, I've just been so upset about the triangles that I wanted to blame it on the Illuminat since I neither know why those triangles keep showing up on the model, nor how I could get rid of them.

got the new model for the Calf Navy Revolver done and also did a little work to the stock of the Doublebarrel Shotgun but those triangles keep showing up.

The models look nice, but some of them look kinda small and awkward in the blockhead's hand.

which ones exactly? They're all a bit smaller than most of the other weapons in Blockland (Pretty much the size of Gcats Default-Weapons which somehow inspired me for these models) but the Calf Navy Revolver will need some resizing though.

The animation is just fine in my opinion, the hexagonal cylinder actually rotates pretty smooth and I found it to be much easier to line up the chambers in a hexagon because of the revolver having six chambers so you could simply put one chamber in each slice of the hexagon. So basically it's just all about the look but also it's kinda funny that I've got the same issues with octagons like you have on the hexagons, the chambers simply won't line up properly it took me so long that I decided to take the cylinder of the revolver I made before.
An octagonal cylinder still might look better on this model so I'm looking forward to get one done.

The triangulation on the double barrel's handgrip and on the normal one's stock really sticks out and is undesirable imo. The revolver could also use a different color scheme; theres a ton of contrast between the colors of the frame of the revolver and the barrel group, provided it's also sort of an eyesore that the barrel group has such a dark texture.

Other than that they're nice. The proportioning and level of detail is very appropriate.

Yeah the stocks are a bit of a sloppy work, on both the Shotgun and the Winchester because they're some of my earlier works which looked even worse before, so that I had to do some changes on them but for some reason I did not change the stocks yet (probably because of I was too focused on the code, getting the Shotgun animation work to see how it turns out to look ingame). The Revolver and the Shotgun both will get a new color scheme as soon as I get too add some more detaill to them (The Shotgun's stock of course and also the Revolver will get an extractor and loading gate) but on revolvers like this the cylinder and barrelgroup mostly where blued, while the frame was color case hardenened so there would still be a contrast between frame and barrel group, not as much as now but still.

Edit : Also I'm not quite sure if should keep the single action revolver's cylinder hexagon or turn it octagon like the barrel.

Alright here we go I finally had some time to make some new stuff I've been somehow missing in Blockland, though we have few Doublebarreled Shotguns, the already existing ones (at least those I've tried) all have their disadvantages at some point, things like that they only provide one shot or just aren't balanced at all so I decided to make some new ones, do you like it?

Modification Help / Re: Different fireanimation for each shot?
« on: February 10, 2015, 09:17:05 AM »
Thanks for the quick respond, so if I got this right I'll just need to have a statesystem for each shot to play the sequences in the right order, or won't it load the sequences in thirdperson in that case?

Edit : Nevermind got it working, thanks a lot.

Modification Help / Different fireanimation for each shot?
« on: February 10, 2015, 08:20:34 AM »
So a few weeks ago I started to create 3D models for Blockland, which turned out to look better than I expected, everything worked surprisingly well so far even though I pretty much have no idea of what I'm doing. But as I where to create an hammered, sbs shotgun for Blockland I realized that it will take more than just one fire animation in order to look good ingame or otherwise both hammers would drop at once. Now my question is if there is any possible way of loading a different fireanimation for each trigger pull until it reloads?

Looks very nice, you should use imgur instead of images though.

Yeah I kinda was in a hurry and had a little blackout, so that I only remembered those imagehosters who annoyed me most. Thanks for the advice man.

Thank you for all the nice responses!
Alright here we go, I added a few more detailed pics + a Mauser C96 (Push)Broomhandle.

Double barrel flintlock please

You should make a over-under. I never seen one before in Blockland, for a fact not in many games either, if any.

At least a few similiar things are in planning, but those are some good ideas and exactly get the point of my "Gunpack" so maybe one day if I got some sparetime.

Never heard of that game but it looks kinda interesting, maybe I'll give it a try later.

So I've been playing this game for about 6 years by now and there was this one thing that always bothered me a little bit. While we've got a huge sh*tload of the craziest, most futuristic- and weirdest looking firearms for Blockland, despite the fact that some of these are really well done, we've got a huge lack of older guns on the other hand and you're pretty limited by choosing a setting for some buildings, deathmatches e.g. (I mean yeah of course you could use whatever gun you want, but mostly it turns out to look quite odd... at least to me). Sometimes you stumble across some very well made antique-gun add-ons, like the Flintlock Mod by Gravitycat, or there are even a few contained in packs, but all in all those are pretty rare. Since I didn't expect anything like this to come and have been bored anyways, I decided to play around with Milkshape again which I've got years ago but never used it again after my first tries turned out to look just horrible (I even posted a picture of that mess back then must've been about 4-5 years ago). Anyways even though I have very little to no experience with 3D modelling I've got a few guns done and even animated.

- Luger P08
- Winchester-type lever-action-repeater
- Revolver (No particular model, just my own interpretation of an early double-action revolver)
- Mauser C96 (also known as the Pushbroomhandle :D )
  New :
-Side by side Shotgun
-A sawed off version of the sbs shotgun
-Calf Navy Revolver

and still more to come.

On both shotguns the hammers drop seperately. (took me a while to figure out how this works)

Alternative model with an octagonal cylinder, using the final color scheme and having all the detaills done

What do you think? any feedback?
