Author Topic: Faces aren't showing up in-game (MilkShape)  (Read 1411 times)

Some of the faces in my mace model wouldn't light, but they should still be there right?  Anyways, some of them aren't showing up...

Here's a picture of it in MilkShape...some of the faces won't light up. Do faces not lighting up cause them to be invisible in-game, or is this a seperate problem?

Right click the 3D window and hit Draw Back-faces. Faces invisible in the editor to? Then the faces are backwards.

The backfaces are drawn, and some faces are still not showing up in-game, as well as them not being lit in MS. =|

How the hell do you people manage to break 3D, I swear. In MS3D export it as a .3ds then import the 3DS then re apply textures, export it and see if that helped with any of the broken areas. If not then you're clearly doing something wrong.

Yes, that is why I made this topic.  What used to light up the faces does not light them up anymore, and I have never had this problem before.

Alright so only the handle and the sphere are lighting up, the spikes aren't.  So I am assuming that the faces on the spikes that aren't lighting up are the ones that appear invisible in-game?

Check auto smooth under groups, Then view 3d in flatshaded and search for black faces, select them and press Ctrl+Shift+F
