Building Rights

I have ephialtes' Building Rights Addon, but I don't know how to use it. Since it's RTB2, the description isn't available. I've looked at some threads here but can't get a clear idea of what it actually DOES. Can anyone give me a brief summary or a link to one?

From my unclear memory, I believe it means people need your build trust to build at all on the server.

I assume there's some command or GUI. I heard something about a keybind to a GUI so I'll look into that. Thank you!

Depends on what version you have.

One of them, people need host's build trust in order to build. No GUI required, just give/remove trust if you do/do not want people building.

The other one uses a GUI and does not require trust.

Well, I have the one on the archives, so I assume that that would be the more recent one. Good way to put an end to spammers, I guess.

Generally, I let people build till I have to leave, or when the build is finished.

I tell them to save if they want to keep it, I'll give them 2 minutes, then clear everything that isn't mine or someone who helped, then save.

and go around with a blowtorch/destructo wand too :D (for those who helped but also built outside)

I seem to remember the old version used the following commands:

/giveBuildRights bl_id
/revokeBuildRights bl_id
(Note you must use BL_ID and not name, so you can give people rights without them being on the server at the time)
