Have you ever gone up to something, thinking it was heavy; After lifting it, realizing it wasn't heavy; but your arms pick it up fast as though you were compensating for it's weight?

Brain tricks.

Sure. Like, my friends backpack was big, but I heaved it up and it came flying at my face :C

I learned a trick to fool yourself: twist your hands around backwards as far as you can (push down with them to help). Then, close your eyes, and move your fingers. I discovered that your brain thinks that you've moved your fingers forwards, instead of how they actually are. Brain error.

I do that all the time with water bottles.
