I'm more responsible.  So I don't have these problems, but I play video games and computer all day.  I'm basically a low life.  I do my homework at school btw ;D

My Dad and his friend Dave are big video game fans. They bought the NES the first day it came out. Today, Dave has a job with Sony doing some network stuff. I played MW2 with him just the other day.

Video games has affected me in the worst way possible; school. Normally, I hear stories how it usually affects family and stuff. I am in the 9th grade, and have  C+ in English, this is my best grade.

Schools are going to have to adapt to our generation. I learn enough reading the memory syncs on Assassin's Creed 2.

My dad is a hardcore gamer too, he is the leader of the biggest raiding alliance on Everquest 2. He used to buy all the consoles including the 3DO which cost $650 at the time. He has a $4,000 gaming computer and a I think like 30 inch monitor. He also plays all the steam games like Team Fortress. He got me into MMOs when I was 9, Everquest 1, and he used to catch me now and then at 9 cursing people out for stealing my loot and stuff  :cookieMonster:

Sitting too long in front of a screen is bad for my skin.

So i guess school is a hobby of mine.

They have schools that teach you how to make games. Sounds like they adapted rather well. But I bet you'd still fail if you played video games all day and not do your homework. So schools shouldn't have to adapt. Just learn to organize your time better.

If you play games on computer enough, it can be a good thing. For example, I get any game for the PC if possible, and due to having an old computer, I needed to upgrade. Now I know a few things about computers, inside and out, hardware and software. Knowing about computers it the best thing you can do in this era, it'll get you a job. Middle school isn't important, high school is the only thing you need to get good grades in, and then your major in college is the only thing you need to get good grades in for college, and a few other things.

Blockland has improved both my vocabulary, spelling, and grammar over the years I've joined.
I'd say its had a positive effect on me.

I started killing old people in GTA when I was 6.
Then my parents started saying, "You can wait, you don't need to kill more old ladies."
