Event help> How do i use points in Events?

well, i have an idea of doing a chose your gun kinda TDM, but i need help.
How do you get the events to make it so you can buy the weapon if you have a certain amount of points
and if you dont have enough points it says cant buy, not enough points.
How do you do these two things?
