The only tricks I know on IRC is if you type "time" on the main channel BlockBot will tell you the time and date, and if you type /me (what you do here) it will show what you said you did, like this E.G.....

• You probably don't need to worry about many of these on the RTB channel, you can't do file transfer through the RTB client, your IP is masked by the network so you can't get DOS'd and the network exists on a single server so there are no netsplits.
• Kline and zline are methods of banning people from an entire network. Only ircops can do this (network admins; ie centralchat staff), you cannot be globally banned by chanops (channel admin; ie RTB staff). Good ways to get yourself klined or zlined are spamming the network with ads for viagra, trying to join the network admin channel or sending viruses to people.
• Any questions about centralchat can be answered here. Did you know centralchat started out as a network hosted off of some 12-year-old kid's computer?
  
• Any questions about how IRC works can be addressed by reading RFC1459
  
• ModBot used to have features like returning google results and definitions. These have been disabled over the years.
• I'm pretty sure ModBot is a version of supybot, but that's not saying much since almost every IRC bot is some version of supybot now.
• Having your own bot in the channel will get you banned.
• Naming yourself anything with the word "Guest" in it or anything ending in "_rtb" should return a ban error message and disconnect you from the channel. The IRC in the old RTB doesn't work anymore unless you change it's channel.
• Copyman is a real person, not a bot. Kaje is also not a bot. Wedge is also not a bot. A gold shield does not mean you are a bot.
• ModBot is our only female administrator.
• Half-Ops and voiced people get a silver shield. There are no half-ops or voiced members so you never see them.
