Gray and Black Materials

I know colors like Black25, Black50, Blank, etc. Change the color's shade when coloring, but what about Gray? If I painted a vehicle blue, would the gray section remain gray, or become dark blue?

Normally they should remain grey, because colour shifting should be determined by the alpha channel. Normally...
