Author Topic: 125,000 lattices and 125,000 1x1 bricks  (Read 4131 times)

No, after 131,072 (2^17) objects they stop rendering. there is a buffer zone of 3,072 objects so, let's say you have space for 3,072 vehicles and such.

The amount of datablocks may affect the limit.

But then, what's the point of surpasing the limit ?

there is a limit on internet games.

i never specified that i was indeed not on an internet game.

i keep telling myself i want to make a (x)million pixel art of something.
but never take the time. i dont know if my comp can handle it or not.

But how are you gonna make a (x) million pixel art of something ? i don't figure it.

because there is no brick limit on single player. god, what are you not understanding.

nor did i huh.

with max res and no aa on, my laptop got the lattices at 36fps.
kinda suck

but in single ive had 820k 1x1s on screen and was at 81fps lol
Are you sure you did a 50x50x50?  Not a 25x25x50?

I made my own 128,000 1x1 cube and my computer stayed at around 60fps. I then shot a rocket at it and crashed

Really smart.

Got about 50FPS with the 1v1's, 50x50x50 using the script.
13-15FPS with the lattices.
600FPS just staring into slate.

Uggh, yes, i'm playing always singleplayer and i guarantee you that the limit exists.

nope, you can disable it in console.
i have easily seen over 200k bricks on screen on many occasions.

Needs more transparent fillcan.
