I've been using it for a while now as a replacement for windows live messenger, since it used to cause problems with my laptops touchpad. It's pretty handy, and comfortable to use. It also allows you to quickly access things like Facebook and your contacts on most things. It also comes up with little, non-annoying pop-ups when I get certain e-mails. Which is handy for me when I'm on the forums since I have it set to alert me to replies in topcs I've posted in and recently viewed. Since I'm a saddo who likes to wait for replies to my comments :U
It's pretty user-friendly and reasonably attractive. I'd suggest it, it's just a shame it doesn't allow me to connect to my Skype account as well though. If it were to do that, it would be perfect for me. It still let's me keep in touch with my friends who use other IM's though without any problems, so it's still pretty good.
