Torrenting is not always illegal, and yes i torrented a FREE mod of a game. But Utorrent is not opened, will i lag anyways?
Or maybe its because i downloaded some files in the morning?

Whatever the case, your internet problem might be caused by your ISP choking you internet for a couple of hours. If it persists into the next day, I would call your ISP.
