@Miga: HTC did make the Android G1 for T-Mobile with a physical keyboard and my friend really likes it. I have a Droid and I can function well with the physical keyboard and the landscape touchscreen keyboard. Not so much with the portrait one, though.
Yeah, the G1's also known as the HTC ADP1 (Android Development Phone 1), which may explain why, externally, it looks somewhat ehh-ish, because it's a Dev phone. Why would you even think of using the touchscreen keyboard, anyway?! You have a nice keyboard layout (although, admittedly, not as nice as the Touch Pro's), that I'd use any day over a touchscreen keyboard.
Also, I think the touchscreen overall is so terrible for me in Android since it's still being developed for my phone (and a lot of stuff comes from the Nexus One, so touchscreen isn't really as well as it is in Windows Mobile). I also notice that the mouse cursor in Ubuntu is a bit "jumpy", meaning that it'll just go wherever it wants sometimes, which would just help prove that the touchscreen isn't all too well.
I'm still waiting for HTC to make another Touch Pro-style phone, to replace my current Touch Pro.
