Author Topic: Blender can't copy  (Read 1305 times)

Are there any copy - paste function in Blender? I tried to copy a model and put it in another model, but it didn't work. It just pulled out a list, and I tried selecting something and press Ctrl - V, but nothing happened.

Ctrl - C is copy. Ctrl - V is paste. Try to find a duplicate command.

Shift+D will dupe it.

Then move your mouse and click where you want the dupe to be.

I mean, put an object into another .blend file.

I did.

No, there isn't.

But I export my model into .obj then import into the other file.

1- Press Shift F1.
2- Go to the folder where the .blend file is, and click on it.

You should see a list like this (or something similar):

  .
  ..
  Armature
  Brush
  Camera
  Image
  Lamp
  Material
  Mesh
  Object
  Scene
  Text
  World

3- Click on Object. This should bring up another list of all the objects in the blender file.

4- Click on the object you want to import. If you want to import several objects, right click on them instead.

5- Press the "Load Library" button.
