Dedicated Server???

I/ve heard a lot of talk about this, and it shows wether or not a server is dedicated in the server list... But i dont knwo what that even means...
Sorry i know (Noob Question) but i've only been on blockland for a year.

A dedicated (dedi) server is a server that can run with out the host present and can run as long as it is open.
