What size do avatars need to be?

Each time I upload my avatar, it gets resized and blurry. What's the size it needs to be? :o (I'll close this immedienly I get an answer. :3)

If you want one that's animated, it can't be bigger than 75 x 75

You can upload an image of any size and it'll be resized

Any image bigger than 75x75 will be re-sized into a terrible jpg quality image. You'll need to change it to 75x75 with Paint.net or GIMP if it's static, or a gif resizer (Google some or see my topic on how to do it) for animated images.
