I would like to know how most modelers in Blockland, well, model. Some of the add-ons seem to have many separate objects that are then joined, but others seem to use 2-D objects to start with, and then use them as the defining points for vertices. How do you do it? Respond and/or vote in poll please.

Make a box, extrude it a bit to get a nice gunish shape, then add some cilynders with 0 stacks and 8 slices (blocko and not high poly) and extrude it so it gets a hollow barrel, add textures and here wah go.

You can also make an outline of a shape using vertexs and join them up and extrude.

I always start with a cylinder for the gun barrel. And even if I'm making a square shape I use a cylinder, because it uses gradient shading. Just looks better to me.

I start with a block, extrude it to get a blockish shape of the desired object,(following is only for detailed stuff) then subdivide 2 times and then make out the real lines of the thing cause i have lots of vertices now
