Flash video(Like Youtube) to GIF animation

EDIT: Like changing a Youtube video into a GIF avatar

Just FYI, I have the latest version of Flash (player and maker), in case that may be part of it. I've seen many avatars that came from videos, so I assume some may know.

Uncheck other stuff boxes

Check .GIF box

Go to the .GIF tab

Change options, primarily making sure it's set to "Animated"

Okay, I meant from a Flash video. Like a Youtube video, made into an avatar

I've heard about people making these kind of avatars, but I don't know how to make a YT video into a .gif animation. Sorry.

Though you can capture a row of frames (with Premiere or something) and then use the .gif maker. Taking regual screenshots is just stupid.
