Author Topic: Add-on files dissapearing  (Read 512 times)

I've only been recently noticing this. I don't know when it started, why it started, or how.

Here's what happened:

1. start up Blockland, do stuff and stuff

2. tried hosting, but found out an add-on isn't on the list

3. went to check in my folder

4. zip is there, but half the contents are missing (ex: my fillcan server.cs was gone

basically, the contents of my add-ons zips are disappearing

if you need me to post a console log, just ask

RTB 3.4

It replaced your add-on with a content-only .zip when you joined a server.

what do you mean by content-only?

it seems kind of silly, because it renders my add-ons unusable, because it deletes key parts

content-only .zip is from joining a server and downloading models and stuff through RTB instead of the server, which makes it a faster load. At the same time, keeps your add-on list clean because it doesn't download .cs, .gui, and .mis files.

Ephi made a slip and didn't account for the fact that these content-only files are overwriting actual add-ons, and has plans to change it.
