Author Topic: Dual computer Monitor Problems  (Read 539 times)

Okay, I have both monitors plugged up, had everything all hooked up, then looked on the back of my computer and it only has one video output plug, I was hoping to run both screens.... any advice/ hardware I can buy to fix this?

A video card.

If you have one buy one that supports two monitors. Or if you've got two different video plugs, buy an adapter.

I'll assume that either your graphics card is very old or you are using an onboard solution.

The best solution would be a new graphics card as running dual-monitors on a weak GPU isn't a good idea.

Mind posting your current specs?

why did you set up 2 screens and somehow had no idea you only had one monitor port?
lol...

you can buy splitter accessories for the cords, but its not really running dual screen, they only allow you to run the same screen twice.
you need a/an video card that can do it.
