Phone internet security

Okay so I just got a phone with 3G internet, and I've got a question about security because I'm as dull as a club when it comes to this. If I log onto the forums via my phone, is my login information in danger (meaning is it any easier for anyone to get a hold of my login if I use it on my phone than on a computer)? What if I save it on my phone's browser? The main reason I ask is because of the incidents where people have stayed logged in on a computer by accident and someone spammed using their account (or so we're told by the "victim", whether you believe them or not is up to you), and I really don't want that to happen to me.

I'm not talking about people doing it through my phone. I'm talking about people doing it from the internet.

Anyway, I heard somewhere that the user's phone actually messed up the forum, and gave someone else's ban message to him. But he wasn't banned.

It was called "Blockland Forums + Phone Confusion" or something along those lines.

I'm not sure how phones are assigned an IP address, but if most people on the same carrier have the same IP, all of them will be IP banned.
