The one left when you save or something. How important is it? If it isn't, can I disable it?

Its not that important, unless you want to go back to an older save.

I dont really use blender. So im not much help there.

Its just backup, so if you know what you are doing, no need for it. Can be useful though if power gets cut or smth like that...
