I can't change my avatar

Whenever I try to change my avatar, I get a message saying "Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow." I don't even know what it's talking about.

There's nothing wrong with that. The filesize should be small, unless there's something wrong with it. The file is probably corrupt, I'd say.

I got the same error with 75x75 image. I just resized it.
