Just WHAT is the appeal to clans?

Somebody please explain to me. All I see a clan being is a group of people who decided "Let's let this guy be our boss".

I don't know. But I know why I joined scattered space. It's a community not a clan and you are free to do what ever you want really. Your not required to clan build, (Although I do like to sometimes build something with Shappeh.) Tags are not required. I guess you could say the leader would be Kenix, if Scattered Space was a clan.

Just a quick edit here. Not trying to advertise or anything, I'm just saying that a community beats a clan any day.

im in my clan because we're all friends and we make stuff and we talk. however if the clan suddenly exploded, and we were only aloud to be friends things would be EXACTLY the same.
