Help with Pingless servers

I was playing my friends server today, then i left to do something, then i came back and i couldn't join his server, the ping is now just --- and i dont get this because i was playing yesterday, and like i said, earlier today. can someone help!?

I'm having troubles with my server too.
For the past few weeks I've been hosting a passworded server to build, DM, and mess around with a few friends almost every day.
However today, my server's ping shows up as either ??? or --- and no one is able to connect, even when I host on a clean install.
I have checked my firewall settings, even completely disabling it, nothing I have tried to far works, and I am out of ideas.
