Author Topic: keyboard troubles in Blockland  (Read 583 times)

This only happens when I spawn in a server or after several minutes of being in a server. On my keyboard, the keys = [ ] \ ' do not work. Also, the ~ key below the esc does not work and the right shift stops working after a few minutes. I've tried re-installing the game but it did not change anything. Please help.

Additional things that may help resolve the problem:
I am on a laptop but it has full keyboard and numpad
I am running Windows 7
I have copied my old Add-Ons folder from my desktop, which has a lot of failed add-ons that i have not cleaned out. Maybe this is being caused by an add-on?

Bump. I really need help.

I had this problem a long time ago and it took me awhile before I got answers.
Here are two solutions I've created, choose whichever you'd like - both work fine.

Temporary fix (until you reboot your computer):

Quote
Open your Start Menu and click on "Control Panel"

(If needed, search for it in the bar at the bottom)

Click on "Classic View" if it is not already selected

Click on "Device Manager" after the list populates

Find "Human Interface Devices" and click the plus sign

Right-click on "Microsoft eHome Infared Transceiver"

Select "Uninstall" - this is completely safe to do

Permanent fix (until you reinstall the driver manually):
