Could you take a picture of the problem? I don't quite understand what you mean.

If you mean that that the female port in the back of the laptop is loose then you should solder it back in (unless you don't know how to solder in which case you probably end up killing it (supposing that it is still alive)).

Or you could tie the wires back together and get some tape.
