Author Topic: Key Recovery Complication  (Read 509 times)

Here is the basic story.

I cannot use key recovery, since my email has changed since I first bought blockland, and also that email account is disabled, therefore I cannot receive messages for it. The old emails were lost in a crash in 2009, so the original email containing the key is gone. I did not worry about this, because I had a decent computer which ran blockland well, until the hardware had a severe malfunction in early 2010.

This meaning, I have no way of getting my key, but then I didn't worry for a few months, because I was saving for a new computer. Now I have a temporary computer to play games on, and I really miss blockland, So I decided to email Eric at support@blockland.us about 6-8 days ago. I waited a few days, not getting a reply, so I thought either: My mail send/receive wasn't working right, or Eric was really busy. I didn't want to send a duplicate email to support@blockland.us, so I decided a few days ago to PM Badspot on the forums, saying that I sent him an email.

He still hasn't replied to either of my messages, so I think he is really busy, or he might have overlooked my messages. I formatted my email somewhat professional, and made sure to ask the right questions, without being pushy. I don't know why he hasn't replied yet, and I am eager to get my key.

So, what should I do? Wait it out and wait for a response, or try to contact Eric another way, or wait for him to see this thread?

Note: I also think this goes under help, considering it deals with Installing Blockland

Send another email containing all proof you can that the ID belongs to you. This would be something like proof of address/payment method.

I sent an E-mail to Eric, he hasn't replied either!

Ok, I don't know exactly how I payed for it, but I do know the original email address it was sent to, The approximate date it was bought, etc. If I did pay for it with Paypal, I might still have a recorded statement of it, but if I payed for it with the credit card that I had at that time, I won't have record of it because that credit card was stole a few months after, and had to be deactivated. Thank you for your advice, I will rewrite my email trying to include as much of what you said.
