This just in: BP is now actually considering putting a replacement cap over the leak.

Also, on BP's YouTube page, they clearly state that this new "Helix Producer" oil capture vessel will be able to capture upwards of 50,000 barrels a day. Contrary to that, accurate estimates state that the number is actually more like 25,000 barrels a day. Nice twisting there, BP.

Considering my dad works for BP I hear a lot about but never take it all in. And one thing I know is BP has billions of dollars that they still haven't used up that they save for disasters like this.
