Author Topic: Graphics card help; what's good? How do I know if it will work?  (Read 681 times)

I have no idea wtf I'm doing and I need some help with things.
I want to buy a good graphics card. How can I tell if a graphics card is good?

What the hell does 9800GT mean? Is it good? Is it just a name?

9800gt is a pretty good graphics card, but I would suggest a 250 gts, they're pretty good for gaming, actually.

Can I have a link to buy one? Also, around how much are they to buy? I'm willing to spend a lot.

if it helps

It's not odd, it's pretty standard for things like laptops.  Making, do you have a laptop?

I'm just used to numbers that end in zero for resolutions

Ignoring my resolution, how can I check that my graphics card will fit into my computer?
