Author Topic: Hooking up xbox 360 to laptop for livestream?  (Read 1839 times)

Sorry for somany topics, but my friend really wants me to do this
Me and my friend on Xbox LIVE have recently gotten back into playing games together over the summer and I told him about Livestream and how it works and how people could watch us play. Now he's really eager to do this and I want to do this for fun, too.
I am wondering how to connect my xbox to my laptop, how to livestream and whatever
If possible, is there any way to do it without spending any/too much money?

There's only two ways to do this. You can't use av/in camera with your 360 due to it not being able to go to your laptop so that's out of the question. You can either get a capture card or a game bridge.

What do you mean that it isnt able to go to my laptop?
Do you mean there isnt a cable for it or the laptop isnt close enough to the xbox or whatever

You can't make a bridged connection between your laptop and your 360 with a camera. You can do this with a capture card or game bridge though.
