I've seen a bunch of people with moving pictures.. i have one but it doesn't work.. is it because its .gif?

it's not .gif that makes your character dance. the image needs to be a .gif to animate but also doesn't have to be animated

You need a special program to make a gif. image.

Must be 75x75 pixels or less or the forum resizes it, converting it to a .jpg in the process, which doesn't support animation (or transparency).
