Maybe Aang's son will hook up with Korra and then the son of an avatar will forget an avatar and they will produce a SUPER HUMAN! Also wouldn't that mean he is kind of loving his dad since the avatar is like reborn as all the other avatars or something like that?

Invader Zim was a comedy, and was very successful, until they canceled it.

That'd be the main reason: IZ was a NOT a show for kids. I have no idea what they were doing getting Jhonen, the man behind "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac," to do a show. There were multiple scenes that had a brief frame of a blood covered GIR something Jhonen wanted in the actual show, but put in like that as retaliation to it's being denied.
