It's a keyboard that outputs sound recordings in MIDI, so it opens many possibilities, because if I'm correct, MIDI is just flat notes that can be edited to sound like any instrument, and MIDI can also be transcribed right from the file because of the simplicity of the notes.
edit: After youtubing 'synth', it could be considered one,but it doesn't have a lot of knobs and sliders though. It's got pitch bend and volume, and an assignable slider, and something strange about it is if you press a button, you go into edit mode and you can press the keys to assign things. It sounds very difficult to use edit mode, seeing as the keys don't have any words or instructions on them. Hopefully a manual will tell me what I'm doing.
