Avatar Colorset values?

How does the avatar colorset work? It's not a normal RGB value thingy so I don't know how to work it. I'd rather have the exact color than just eye one.

It's a slider that uses 0.000 - 1.000. Opaque red would be 1.000 0 0 1.000.

...I can gather that much. What I'm asking is how I would plug in RGB values from, say, Paint.net.

Nevermind, I figured it out. You had to divide the whole number by 255.
