This is how it's been for ages. Vietnam for example, the soldiers are given orders and they must carry them out. Some of them joke about the tasks they MUST accomplish, others take the jokes too far. But it's all because they have to do something they aren't pleased with and have to make the best of the situation.

There was one document stating the deaths of people from my home province who were victims of blatant U.S friendly fire. Low and behold, they were covered up.
