All .zip/.bls folders in trash?

I was running blockland, then, i turned off the computer.
then, when i ran it again, i noticed no RTB on the side. i clicked start a game, and there were no maps.
i checked add-ons, only the folders that were opened were there. (i.e. the non .zip folders)
any reason why this would be happening?
i am running Mac OS X Verson 10.6.4

but try] cheking some sort of trash settings

well, i just finished putting back all of the files from my trash folder.
but i still dont know why this would happen
