Criss Angel is an illusionist, his levitation was proven to be shopped several times. Not the whole thing, but different clips of him being in the air. They pointed things out like the color of the sky and the position of the clouds that it was several minutes later, but only a few inches forward. How he did it could've been anything. A Plexiglas platform being suspended, or him being suspended. Or maybe it's just entirely shopped.
Anyway, my friend taught me this pretty cool trick. You have to be at a table that's low enough so people don't see under it. You need a quarter or other coin, and you move it around in your hands for a while, then you start explaining "there is a magic spot in every table", and when you say that, make sure you get everyone's eyes. Then you drop the quarter into your other hand. You position your fingers so it looks like you are holding a quarter (pinching 3 fingers against your thumb, 3 fingers facing them so they can't see), and you do the same with the real quarter under the table. You tap in sync with your fingers and the quarter under the table (so it sounds like you are tapping the quarter above the table). Then you pretend to press the quarter flat against the table (and you actually press it flat on the underside of the table) (make sure you slap it down hard enough to make a loud noticeable sound), then show them the table. It works against a lot of people, but anyone who knows the simplest of coin tricks should be able to figure it out.
