Author Topic: Strange internet connection problem with Dedicated server.  (Read 721 times)

Alright. I'm on an old Compaq Presario that runs Blockland perfectly fine. Here's what I get in the console when I try to launch a dedicated:

After that, it continues to load normally. I can access the server via LAN but other users get "Sending punch packet..." a bunch of times and can't connect. It doesn't do this on any other PC. I have also tried disabling uPnP in Blockland and it skips uPnP initialization, but it still gets the Punch Packet problem.

Sometimes, it says something like this:

(Something something, I forgot) Is it an IDG? <insert IP adress>

I need some serious help here. It does this with this PC only. I have port forwarded and all.

Can't use UPnP and Port Forwarding at the same time, they conflict. Turn one off.

I did.

Turned off uPnP. Did nothing.

I'll try un-portforwarding it.

Gah. Anyone else know about this problem?

This is what I get when I un-forward the ports and enable uPnP on Blockland.

Bump. I really need help with this.

Oi, this seems a bit far out for me.

I'm only one to help with events ^.^

But, try reinstalling or just hosting on the other computers as seeing they work fine.

Maybe a conflict in old or new software.

These are just suggestions and ideas.
