player touch scrpts dont happen in water

im trying to make lava water that killes you when you touch it buyt it wont work it also does not work with bricks that dont collide some one help me [puppy dog face]  sorry about grammer

on the water brick, either get the events for onplayerenterwater, or colide it and use onplayertouch
