Annoying Youtube problem.....

It seems for the last couple days when I have been on youtube, it does this annoying thing if I search for a video and click on a suggested search term, it just brings me to the list of all of the recent/popular videos, and I have to avoid this by typing the whole search term out? Has anyone else experienced this, and is their a possible to fix this?

It's YouTube trying to get you to watch "featured" videos by stuffty vloggers like shane dawson, shaycarl or w/e and ray william johnson because they all whore for attention and get featured on YouTube.
