This
motherboard's diagram thing-ma-jig says it has an 8-pin power connector. Now, by the looks of the 8-pin connector, it's probably going to use my
Antec TPQ-1000
power supply. It has a 4-pin ATX 12V/8-pin EPS 12V wire. If I were to buy it, should I use the EPS wire to connect to the 8-pin CPU power connector?

You don't need to use the 8-pin. That is more specifically for overclocking. My question, however, is why are using is 1000w PSU with a micro-atx board?
