LAN game is not working

Ok, so me and my friend plan on starting an LAN game. I start up blockland and host a game. He goes to "join game" and "query LAN" my server is not showing up. please help

yes, its not coming up when my friend clicks "query LAN" it doesn't show up on the server list

Yes, one is a laptop. it used to work a couple days ago. i haven't changed anything though. :?

Try hooking the laptop up with an Ethernet cord and see if that works.
